These scarves are the best!
Over a period of four years I have purchased five of these scarfs. For my budget they are pricey (I did get a couple of them on sale, luckily.) But, they are such excellent additions to the wardrobe not only for their beauty but also for other qualities. They "sit" well, meaning that once you have put it on it stays nicely in place--so many scarves have to be fussed with throughout the day, but these really behave themselves well! They also travel well, only getting a little wrinkled with wear, and when you can't take a lot of different scarves with you, having a couple of beautiful solid colors is great. You can't always see on the web site how beautiful the sheen of the fabric is (that's the silk that gives the lustre). And WEARING this scarf is such a treat. It is hard to explain but it is the most soothing scarf, as the blend of cashmere and silk keeps you comfortably warm, never hot and clammy, and there is something sort of magically comforting feeling about wearing those natural fibers against the skin. When I wear one of these scarves I feel good. I consider this a three season scarf, only not suitable in the high heat of summer. Personally, I do like the fringe--some have said they don't but the fringe is a soft finish and you wouldn't want a hemmed edge on this type of scarf. Some have a also said they got snags in the material. That has occasionally happened to mine, but since the material is not a tight weave it is easy to work the snag back into place and no harm done, and not much effort to fix. That said, it might not be wise to wear this scarf in a shawl style where it could more easily get snagged. I wish there was a better way to see the colors-- a couple of times I have ordered a color I thought I would love, and just didn't' happen to like and sent it back. But that is because I am super picky about color. So be forewarned that what you see on the computer probably isn't going to be exactly the color in real life.
