Cable Knit Baby Blanket

I received a blanket similar to this four years ago when I had my son. I thought a Nordstrom baby blanket seemed extravagant. However, when I had my daughter recently, I pulled that blanket back out and it is among my favorites. I decided to buy this new version, and it is just as good. It's soft, stretchy, and a versatile size. It also washes up nicely and has held its shape. I think $28 is a lot of money for a baby blanket, BUT I think it's worth it in this case. It would make a nice gift. Get a gender-neutral color, though, because it'll last for more than one baby!

We received this blanket as a gift right after our second child was born and we love it. This has been our go-to blanket for him. So far this blanket has lasted through five and a half months of washes, cuddle and play times, and hugs. It is soft yet sturdy and durable. We use it to drape our son in his car seat or over it if it is windy outside. We have the blanket in Precious Blue color - we love the color, the feel, overall everything about this blanket is a must-have for any mom and baby.

I have purchased 10 of these blankets over the years for my 10 grandchildren. Each has become a treasured "blankey" for the child who owns it. One was lost during a move and was replaced in short order with a "twin". The blanket is soft and durable. Many comments have been made about it being handmade, it looks like it could be, but people love to hear they can get one of their own from Nordstrom. Highly recommend.
