400 Thread Count Organic Cotton Sateen Sheet Set

I have purchased 3 sets of these sheets because the fitted sheet is nice and deep and the sheets have such a nice weight to them. After 3 months our first fitted sheet tore from the corner right up to the middle. Thinking it was a fluke, I just didn't worry too much about it. Was annoyed after paying that much however. Now our 2nd set has also torn after using it only 2 months!!! VERY irritated!!!! These sheets are stupid expensive for this to be happening, and with Nordstrom great support, they will NOT take these crap sheets back! DO NOT BUY THESE JUNK SHEETS UNLESS YOU PLAN TO NOT SLEEP ON THEM. We change these sheets every week, and have 5 sets of sheets that we rotate through, so they are not getting undue wear and tear by any means.

I've been waiting months for these to go on Anniversay sale, so I was so excited come the first day of the sale to get these home and on my bed. And boy was I disappointed!! These sheets are not soft at all and are very scratchy on my face. And I've washed the pillow case 4 times now hoping it would soften up, but no luck. I was baffled at the ~150 reviews saying how soft these are, I wondered if these people had been sleeping on a paper sack or what? Then I realized..... the other reviews are for the non-organic ones!! Which now makes sense, because I'd had the non-organic ones in my wish list for months, and they always showed sold out of the Cal King in white. When I went into my local store pre-sale, they never shared with me that there were two different 400 thread count sets. They are also not cut/sewn correctly, because both pillows cases & the flat sheet "shift"/are twisted after they are washed on the finished end (hope that makes sense). Needless to say I won't be keeping these, and I'm extremely disappointed that Nordstrom put the non-organic 400 count sheets on sale for Anniversary but never made them available in Cal King in white!

The color of these sheets is what first sold me, a beautiful persimmon. Within a year, they began to develop annoying pills and unusual thinning. I exchanged them for another pair in the same color. After last week's wash, I noticed that the second pair had developed a 1" tear in the bottom sheet. I love these sheets and thought I could patch the tear, so I decided to put them on the bed until I could purchase a patch kit. Last night, my toe got caught in the 1" tear and it became a 3" tear. So now I am giving myself a new pair of sheets for Christmas (which wasn't in my budget), but I won't be buying these Nordstrom sheets again, and I would not recommend them to anyone. Nordstrom: Could the problem be the "organic" cotton fabric?

I bought two sets of these sheets in 2 different colors, white and ivory. They appear to be of very good quality and thickness. The softness is so-so. However, I have only washed them once. They did come out of the dryer extremely wrinkled. I will NOT iron bed linens (maybe a pillow case) but, nothing else. I am hoping they will soften up more over time and not be so wrinkled. Not feeling the 'sateen' softness after one wash. However, we shall see over time. I do like the fact that they are supposedly organic cotton.

Sturdy, not silky but comfortable if your fur babies sleep wit you GET THEM the only ones that have survived my husky-sheppard nails a year and 2 months later. No fading either

Nice sheets especially out of the package-i was incredibly excited to use them but once washed they are rough. Not horribly rough but compared to how silky soft and the excellent reviews I had high expectation. Hoping that with repeated washings that they soften up but nice to know they come from a good company and are organic.
