my new favorite thing
I love theses!! I purchased 4 months ago!! The sound is clear I’m amazed how much I can lower the sound and still hear clearly. Great if you want to protect your hearing from listening to load music or podcasts. I usually have to turn up the vol so high to hear over my sons TV

Connections Keeps Dropping
Overall design is new and sleek, but it is Fingerprint & Stain Magnet (using black version). Besides that, sadly this device constantly disconnects from my iPhone my iPad my MacBook my PC my Electronics... Headphone is software updated when activated. Yes...Device needs “Activation” in order to use it...there goes my Privacy. Next this headphone do not use prior Bose App, uses another proprietary new Bose App. LOL my iPhone now got 3+ different Bose Apps to control Bose hardwares.
I have QC35, oddly I do not notice much differences between QC35 and this NC700. Both performers exactly same in Subway Stations, in Urban City noise, with Maximum Noise Cancellation...both QC and NC sounds the Same.

Kept dropping connections and audio sounded flat
I’ll be honest, I bought both the black and the white/rose gold ones, and I was really disappointed. The white set didn’t hold charge, even after charging it fully. It would lose charge very quickly. The audio sounded flat and tinny and there was a significant lack of base. It kept dropping connections. Maybe I just got a dud? The black set worked amazingly well though! The audio sounded fuller, it did have a good amount of base, it hasn’t been dropping my connections, and it’s battery is working fine. I have no idea why there was a difference between the two headsets, but just thought I’d let you all know.

BEST noise cancelation/ FLAT SOUND
It’s upsetting that most companies can’t put a well rounded product out. I decided to return my new QC35 Bose headphones for these just because they offered EQ in the APP. the app has since been rolled back without notice so I’m stuck with great noise cancelling but flat sounding music. IF YOU DESIRE SOUND THAT SENDS CHILLS DOWN YOUR SPINE, DO NOT PURCHASE THESE! The phone microphone is the best out of Sony and Seinheiser. Why must we chose to compromise our music for great ANC tho? Bose needs a major R&D REVAMPING. they’ve been putting out trash in my opinion.

Meh - Great design, subpar everything else
Ended up returning these.
Overall, I just couldn't justify the price.
I loved the design, but the comfort from it was less than desirable. The sound quality was okay, as was the noise cancellation.
However - they cannot be charged & listened to at the same time, which is a big deal for long flights and the short battery life they have.
The application is a mess, and factory resetting the headset can leave it in a weird borked state.
Entire time I had these, i tried to justify why the pretty headphones should stay, and decided that headphones with only their design going for them isn't good enough for me.
