Lima Mule (Women)

Had I reviewed these shoes the day I got them, it would have been 5 stars. I was even looking at getting a second color. But now, after less than a month, they are falling apart. Everytime I take the off the inside sole folds back and it bunches when I walk. I'm really surprised by this, as Nisolo is one of my favorite brands and I've had other shoes from them for years, and they are still in great condition.

Great casual shoes that stay on my feet with only a little toe-bunching. I'm between an 8 and 8.5, and the 8.5 was definitely a better fit in both the black and bone (sometimes brands are different between colors - not these, apparently). The leather is very soft, so be aware that the lighter colored shoes do show the shape of your foot (not as noticeable with the black shoes). This may bother some people, but I don't mind it. There's just enough of a rise at the heel to keep your foot from coming down too hard as you walk. I do wish there were some padding on the footbed, though. It's not much more comfortable than walking barefoot. But if you like walking barefoot, these are great.

This shoe is amazing! It’s so comfortable, and didn’t have any break in time out of the box. There isn’t a lot of arch support, but this for me is more of an errands, out to lunch with friends shoe etc. if your hauling all over the city, you may need more support. This is my second shoe by nisolo and I sized up a half size after seeing photos and reading a few reviews. I am one of those people that does not like my heel to the end of the shoe for my heel to hangover. I am a true 7.5 and this is the 8. I’m a little concerned about stretch after the AMA miles stretching so much, but hopefully it works out. I included a photo of the ama with this being on my larger foot for reference
