An unexpected problem
The glued-on exterior is sticky, meaning that any fabric, crumbs, or dust that touches it could leave a mess that can’t be removed. Ruins the shine that was intended.

Reordering maybe a dud
Upon opening I noticed the tissue paper was stuck to the clutch. Apparently the glue that holds the beads melted leaving the bag tacky to the touch. Clutch also has a residual monomer odor. I knew the odor immediately since I worked in the chemical field for many years. The bag also has a stain on the inside flap. I love the bag however and am hoping this one is just a dud. Back it goes and I’ll be re-ordering.
