Zoom X Vista Grind Sneaker (Women)

Very cute sneaker! I thought these were red, but the color is more like a neon coral/red. I will still be wearing them as red. I normally wear a US 10 - 11, UK 7 1/2 -8, and a EU 41/42 depending on the style. I have a long narrow foot. I originally purchased the 9 1/2, which is what I customarily purchase in Nike, but exchanged it for the 10. They are cut narrow and a bit short. The good news is, they are not heavy and feel great on the foot. I would size up a half to a whole size. They do not look big and clunky on the foot!

I am female and many times I need to purchase men's sizes in athletic shoes (I have larger foot on the slim side, which mean Nikes are my go-to brand since they're usually cut narrower). Coming off of complicated left foot surgery performed last July, I am only now able to be active again. I'm the type who is usually standing throughout most of the day in addition to any activities I may do, and I was required to have orthotics made for my feet after this surgery. Finding a pair of shoes that would accommodate them was imperative. At first glance, these humongous shoes look like they might have been owned by Frankenstein himself. They look clunky (from the back view especially), however, they are very light weight. The top of the shoe that is normally leather, or fly knit mesh, is made from some type of thin, flexible opaque plastic. (Bonus: If you enjoy wearing colorful socks you will be able to see parts of them through the shoe top - this adds an interesting style point.) From reviews I'd previously read, I knew to size up at least ½ to one full size. I did order up 1.5 sizes, taking into consideration I needed to remove the Nike insoles (they are very thin) and replace with my orthotics. Not expecting much, I was surprised to find that my half-inch thick orthotic insoles were able to fit. (Whew!) I put the shoes on and still had enough room in the toe when I stood up. (Note: these shoes definitely give you some additional height.) Wow. They felt great! They provided just the right amount of cushion in the foam-enhanced sole to get some energy return without feeling squishy. I could imagine running in them forever... but I'll be thankful just to be able to wear them all day and get 10,000-15,000 steps without pain. For the two hours I had them on they felt wonderful, and for anyone who is on their feet all day they are a must-have. Don't be afraid of the huge sole, go for it! You'll be transformed. (But DO order up AT LEAST a half size). You'll get plenty of feedback from people inquiring about your new kicks asking, "Are they as comfortable as they look?"

These are definitely hot and I wanted to love them, but I couldn't deal with how strange the 'walk' was in them. There definitely is a 'rolling' component to my gait when I tried them on in the house, and it was just too weird for me. I also unfortunately went up a half size (as Nike's tend to run large) and didn't need to. Sadly, they are being returned.

I absolutely adore these kicks. I’m a heel kinda girl, so the platform gives me what I need with that lift. They look super expensive and chic. The red in the platform is neon, and seems to flow. The I bought some red neon socks to rock CSU’s it will accentuate the clear area of the sneaker. Over all, great sneaker if your looking for something with a little jen be sais quo’s! Other than traditional Nike’s. These are the way to go!
