Windrunner Packable Jacket

Runs small size up. I wear a large in essential hoodies and this jacket needed to be an x large for me. I have a 42” chest. The quality and design of this jacket are great, sleeves and front have mesh lining, wish back had mesh as well, mittens not really needed but nice feature, double zipper is great but sticks a bit. Jacket just needs a waist cinch (Nike please put a hood and waist cinch on your jackets, this really allows one to dial in a perfect fit).

Bought this for my son and he loves it because it’s such a light jacket. He doesn’t doesn’t feel hot in it and it provides wind protection. The colors are nice, too (I bought the one with rust color). He normally wears medium and the medium jacket fit. However, we bought the large so he has more room for clothing.

Living in Texas with such unpredictable weather, I wanted to have a jacket that was versatile with the changes. This jacket is it! With the cooler morning and evenings, this keeps me covered from the chilly winds and dry from the morning drizzled we have been getting lately. This jacket even has mittens hidden in the arms to cover your hands if it gets too cold on my run. There are just so many pros to this jacket. Love the mesh areas for the ventilation and it allows the jacket to still feel cool even after that Texas sun come out. One of the many pros is how lightweight and breathable it is, I even find myself wearing it even after my workouts just because it's so comfortable and the style of the jacket makes it very wearable. Nice deep pockets to throw my keys in and not worry about them falling out on the trail.Another aspect I love is the dual zippers. Being a bigger guy, when I sit down, a lot of other jackets feel tight around the waist but with this feature I can loosen it and not worry about it being uncomfortable. The fit is amazing and just the right size for even my height. I feel being on the taller side some XXL jackets look too baggy or can be too long depending on your size. I will say the only con I found on this jacket was the side pockets have caught on to doorknobs or handles a few times. They have this easy pull tabs on them which if not careful can catch on things. Other than that , I can't say enough more positive things about this jacket. It's all I wear now. Hoping to add another color into the mix even though I really love the blue and dark red version I have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We loved this lightweight jacket! Perfect for that tad breezy kind of day and or even when they are calling for light rain! Jacket comes with gloves attached which makes it nice for a morning run when it is still a tad chilly out and you don’t have to worry about losing them! It’s a men’s jacket so it does fit wide at the bottom. The colors are settle and can go with anything! I would recommend this jacket to someone looking for a lightweight windbreaker- this coat covers it all!

He usually sticks to “safe” colors and patterns, so I was excited that he loved the color combination of this jacket. The colors are bold and fresh, but not too crazy for every day wear. The jacket is super light, but has been warm enough for the cool spring mornings and evenings as we transition into warmer months. I love how the jacket is slightly longer in the back- it makes the fit feel super current and on trend. My husband typically floats between a L and XL for clothing (but tends to prefer a roomier fit) and the XL is perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband was super excited to receive this jacket. He's 5 ft 8 in and about 205-210 lbs. We received a large which is the size he normally wears. He put it on and it looked great...until he tried to move his arms! The shoulder/bicep area of this jacket was so tight he said he felt like he was going to rip it. It is very strange...the jacket fits perfectly everywhere except for that area. He said he would only wear this jacket for "standing around" in because of this. It's unfortunate because when he is standing still it looks awesome on him. Another criticism of his was the white color because let's face it- guys tend to get white clothing dirty...quickly. Even after washing white would never look fully clean again. I could see the wrists of this jacket looking very dirty after repeated wear. I think it would be better to make the sleeves gray like the upper part of the body. I like the other 2 colors! Just not the white for sleeves. One secret feature I thought was awesome were the built in mittens! Oh how I wish I had this jacket in a women's size for running this past winter. To be able to pop mittens on and off and not have to carry them when I got too warm would have been a game changer for me! I do so wish that this jacket fit him better so I could speak to the durability and versatility of this jacket but I cannot. If we had sized up to an XL it would have looked huge on him in the torso just to fit the shoulders and upper arms. Very disappointing.
