Poor quality Velcro
Poor quality Velcro. I bought a pair for my son and after a few weeks the Velcro strap began to fail. The Velcro would not hold together making the shoe very frustrating for my 7 year old and they became pretty much unwearable.

Overall great shoe for kids!
I have ordered this shoe several times in several colors for both of my kids. They’re great and my kids always grow out of them before they get worn out. Be aware that lighter colors will look much dirtier faster- they can be cleaned easily but the white/light grey colors just will look dirty much faster than dark grey/black/red. Some pairs have even made it through two kids! They’re easy enough for toddlers to put on independently. However, I would like it if the bigger sizes had laces- my kid loves them but wants to practice tying her shoelaces! It would also help to accommodate thicker socks or shin guards when playing sports.
