Hated them for high fitness
I decided to purchase these for high fitness after reading the description and reviews. But, I could not get them off fast enough! I wore them for high fitness and they were just too stiff and did not work for jumping and all the movement in this type of class. They have a stable base for squats and leg work, so they might be good for weight lifting.

New design does not fit the same
Somewhere in the last couple of redesigns, the fit of this shoe has totally changed. I need a wider toe box and I’ve worn Metcons for years and the 9.5 always fit like a dream. But somewhere around the v5 the fit changed and now the 9.5 is so tight it feels more like an 8.5-9. It’s just way too small. This happened when I tried the v5, v6, and I was hoping maybe with the new v7 this would have been improved but no dice. Size 10 doesn’t even fit the same as the old 9.5, it’s still weirdly tight although at least I could get my foot in it. I even wore them around the house for a bit hoping they’d give a little, but no. So disappointed I have to find a new workout shoe.

Great lifting shoe
This is my go-to shoe on leg days. For anyone taking off your shoes at the gym, I recommend buying a pair of these instead! The bottom is nice and flat and it has plenty of space for me to spread my toes. Just the right amount of support. I followed other reviews that said to go up a half size and they fit perfect. I plan to get another pair when these wear out.

Weird shape
I don't know how to describe it, but when taking a step, the bottom of the shoe remains flat. It makes walking (or any movement) very disjointed.

Not my favorite Metcon….
Purchased these because I loved my Metcon 4’s and I like the white, soft green and black color. They are a good shoe for lifting, but not great for general walking. They are very flat and very stiff. I can’t walk properly in them because they don’t flex and they make a noise when you walk on certain floors. Not as comfortable and snug as the 4’s.

Perfect high intensity training and boxing workouts. I would not recommend for running. They are definitely designed for weight training and ensuring you stay low to the ground. They run TTS but Nike also fits a
