It’s perfect for those in between days when it’s not too cold but still a little chilly or windy. The fit is true to size with a slightly athletic feel. It’s lightweight and comfortable, not bulky at all, so it’s easy to throw on over a hoodie or t-shirt. The design is clean and classic Nike. It has a sporty look that works for both playing outside and just wearing casually. The fabric feels durable and does a great job with light rain and wind. It’s not meant for heavy weather, but it’s perfect for those quick drizzles or breezy days. Definitely how lightweight and versatile it is. It’s easy to grab and go, and works really well for spring or those warmer-to-cooler temperature changes. It would be nice if the inside had a slightly softer lining for a little extra comfort.

The material truly repels water while still feeling breathable. I also like the design details. The mesh lining and vented back help with airflow and keep heat from building up, even when he's running around. The elastic cuffs do a good job of keeping rain out, and the zipper chin guard is a nice feature, my son usually complains when zippers rub against his chin. Another big plus is how lightweight it is. He can easily stuff it into his backpack without it taking up so much space, making it perfect for school, sports, or travel. My only small complaint is the hood. After a lot of running and jumping, it tends to slip back and come off a bit. Aside from that, this jacket is a solid choice for wet weather.

The fit is true to size, the nylon is light weight, and is overall very breathable. My 9 year old has not taken this jacket off since she got and now wants multiple colors just like her daddy. This design is timeless and is executed in adult and kid sizes alike!

It’s great to cover up and to also use as a raincoat!! I also love that this windbreaker type doesn’t stick to my skin when I sweat, there’s almost an airy feel that makes it super comfy!

This breathable, 3-season shell has instantly become out little one's wearable playground-armor. He naturally gravitates toward the monochromatic black color of the jacket to coordinate with his (VERY simple) wardrobe, and he utilizes the multiple pockets effectively for his abundant collection of outdoor treasures through his discoveries. While the silhouette is heavily exaggerated for his frame, he calls it his "shield" and knows he'll effectively stay guarded from the elements regardless of what comes our way. One Consideration: The volume runs relatively large for his age group and heavily leans pure sportswear aesthetic. Even still, this one is undeniably his favorite daily grab-and-go artifact.

My 5 year old wears it all the time from soccer practice/games to going on walks or to the park, even to school. With its sporty look leggings or even biker shorts go well with it. It’s comfortable and I really hope more colors are coming! Would I recommend this windbreaker to another mom? Absolutely, worth every penny. It’s a great addition to any kids closet boy or girl. In my opinion this windbreaker is true to size.
