Nike Jordan ADG 2 Golf Shoe

They look awesome. They’re comfortable. They squeak when you walk and they started to fall apart after 7 rounds of golf. I know it’s tempting after reading all of the reviews...maybe mine won’t squeak. I did the same thing...and I won’t do it again. Try another model.

Great looking pair of shoes and comfortable but the squeaking noise drove me absolutely nuts! It’s not anything you can really ignore either because it’s every single step. I’ve tried every trick to get it to go away but it’s just a flaw with the shoe. At first I thought it was just my pair but seeing everyone complain about the same thing makes me feel dumb for not reading the reviews before I bought them. Wouldn’t recommend

I should read reviews before I purchased it. Shoes look very nice but rubber squeaking badly after few holes played. When I walked, begin to squeak on right foot. The squeaking is very loud and bothered other players on the green. It is not something that I only can hear, but very loud. Moreover, get a half size larger than your shoe size. This runs narrow.

I would like to preface all of this by saying I am both a sneaker head and an avid golfer. With that being said, what I am looking for in a golf shoe is something that looks fresh while performing on the course, and in a solid degree of comfort. Pretty normal I think for most people. This shoe is beautiful out of the box and looks even better from a top down look. They look really good with shorts and everyone commented on them immediately. The look is everything you would want from a Jordan at the price point. Incredibly comfortable, and STABLE shoe. I golf a lot, and these held the same level of comfort through the entire season. They are waterproof too, so those early morning tee times weren’t an issue in terms of wetness. For me, the stability in the shoe is huge. I was coming off of ankle reconstruction and I needed something on my feet that I was confident I wouldn’t roll my ankle in. This thing has a massive heel, which at first looks a little wonky, but the stability I have while swinging and walking the course is better than anything else I’ve tried. And no joke, I found that it kept my feel more level and grounded when swinging the driver and I’ve been hitting waaaaay more fairways. Great design. Yes, people stop to look and comment on the look of the shoe. It looks dope. But by about the 7th-8th hole, they start commenting for a whole different reason. THE SHOES SQUEAK AS LOUD AS CAN BE. At first I thought it was in my head. Then my buddy said something about it. Then my other buddy. Next thing you know I’m the butt end of a joke for 2 holes and I’m walking up to a putt and the only thing I can think about it is how I sound like the Penguin from the 1966 Batman movie, quacking every step. It’s absolutely brutal. I have found that you can almost get rid of the squeaks if you put some gel pads in it, but you have to change them pretty regularly if you are constantly walking courses. It really sucks that this is a problem, because everything else literally makes it the best golf shoe I’ve ever owned. Long story short. The shoes look dope, perform great and are incredibly comfortable, but the squeaking is embarrassing beyond belief. It’s fixable to a point, but it’s an ongoing battle that always needs to be thought about. It’s always in the back of your mind that the shoes could start squeaking at any step, and it’s like a PTSD flash back that just throws you off your game. I just bought the 5’s because I needed something else instead. Just a little buyer beware.

Historically, I’ve had good luck with Jordans. Most have been very comfortable and durable. These golf shoe though are the worst Jordans I’ve owned. Not comfortable at all. I wouldn’t buy Jordan golf shoes again.

One of the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I’ve had every brand but these tops them all in comfort and performance.
