cute shoe for kids!
These are wider than other Nike styles, so they are the only Nikes my little will wear now. They come in many colors and he says they are comfortable, and his is PICKY! :-) true to size

The tongue is sewn very low on these shoes. Makes it look like it’s sliding down and it does not pull up. There is a Velcro strip on the size 13 little kids shoes. Prior to ordering the associate said the Velcro strip is only on the toddler shoes not little kids Returned due to poor design and uncomfortable

true about bad threading
There are little “nubs” on both sides of the tongue that are sewn into the shoe- probably the ends of certain threading. Either way it caused huge discomfort to the little guy and it became unbearable for him to walk. For the most part Nikes have worked out great for his normal width feet but this one was a huge miss.
Strange thing is he had no problem with the same shoe, smaller(previous) size. So there must be some inconsistency with the quality

small opening
This shows was difficult for my 9 year to put on, to the point where he gave up completely, I was able to put it on him but he did not want to keep it because it would be more difficult when he have socks on. Will be returned!

hard to put on
We ended up returning these. The tongue is not separate from the rest of the shoe, so it’s like a slip-on, but my 8 year old really struggled to put it in, even though we got a larger size.
