Runs small & narrow
Runs small & narrow. My son outgrew before other shoes in the same size. Not for wide feet

After fourteen months, I am still impressed
Purchased these in December 2021 for my three year old son. I ordered an all white toddler size 9 and they fit him perfectly (meaning there was about 1/4” of room to spare). The color itself is definitely white, no yellowing, no off white, these are pure white. The stitching looked neat and professionally sewn. What I liked the most about these Air Force ones over the others is the additional velcro strap. The velcro strap allows for a more secure fit. When I strapped the velcro also allows these shoes to be put on and taken off easily.
These shoes have always been his go-to pair. He has even learned how to put them on without any help. They have been through water, mud, playgrounds, a bounce house, bike riding, including falling off a bike, falling learning to walk and run, tripping, and learning how to go up and down many many steps. These shoes have protected his ankles each time where one would think injury was possible. Though, I am firm with my belief that if you take care of something it will last you a long time. I kept his shoes clean and free of debris and spot wipes as often as I felt necessary. This frequent cleaning did not take away from the shoe or cause fading or scuffs of any kind. Honestly, these shoes still look brand new despite him wearing them on an average of three times a week for at least an hour or more each time.
After fourteen months of wearing these shoes, my son who is now four is ready for his second pair of Nikes. Not because these needs replace due to wear, because they have lasted this entire time. He has finally outgrown them though.
All around I am very satisfied with my purchase, though if there was one thing I had to choose that I did not like, it’s the difficulty of keeping the laces clean and looking white. Being that the laces are elastic and sewn directly into the shoe itself it makes cleaning them a very hard task. Unless you were to just wash the entire shoe which would ultimately result in the need for drying time. This method also requires that the supplies you use are safe for this particular shoe and you handle the process with care.
I have purchased at least eight pairs of Nikes toddlers and little boys over the last seven years and by far this pair is my favorite. I would definitely recommend letting your child try these out if you are debating whether or not you should buy them. I promise you, for me and my son, they were definitely worth it!
