I'm a size 32 and the "M" size is a comfortable fit. They're definitely a lot shorter than I would normally wear but after wearing them around at home for a couple of hours they felt normal enough. I wore them for a run once and I didn't notice they had no zipped pocket until I got there. This is a deal breaker for me. I want keys and lip balm in that pocket, maybe even a headphones case if it's big enough and it's a long run. I still ran, it was a really hot, humid day and they stayed comfortable. Overall they seem like durable pants, although the "trackclub" tag on the bottom has half come off after the first wash. If you don't need a secure pocket and you like short shorts, I would say give them a try!
