Comfy and quality
Truly the comfiest shorts I own. I wanted these to last a while so I got a medium (though I debated for longer than I should have). For reference I’m 5’5 and 148 pounds. The pants themselves are a little wide but the waistband fits just right which is the most important thing for me.

I am pretty disappointed with these shorts. They look really good in the picture but there are way more baggy in person and almost see-through (the yellow ones). Very disappointed.

Good quality, but far smaller than expected
I usually wear a medium in shorts, but often go up a size in this particular style for a looser look. I ordered a large in these, and they are genuinely skin tight. And not in a remotely flattering way. I had to double check and make sure they weren’t children’s. Very odd sizing.

Quality has changed
Years ago, I would have given these shorts 5 stars. But they have really changed over time. I suspect the manufacturer has changed and cost cutting strategies have come into play. They keep getting shorter, the elastic band is cheap and more constricted, and there is less material overall. The dye also washes out quickly and the fleece gets rough. Bummer because I still have some I purchased in the exact same size a long time ago and they are still comfortable, great shorts. But these new shorts are such poor quality in comparison.

Comfy, size up if you want a loose fit
Super comfy! I’m 5’6” 160lbs and ordered the large and they fit well. Not tight but not baggy so if you want a more comfy fit I would size up. I was on the fence based on other reviews and definitely glad I went with the large. Pockets can actually hold my phone without falling out which is nice too.

Perfect THREE SEASON Shorts for Coastal Living
I love these shorts and have them in at least four colors. I bought a size down (M) because I like my shorts closer to my body but because of the nice drawstring you can give yourself extra tummy room. Frankly, I could easily wear XL for the popular baggy look, L for the regular sweat-short look, and in my case, go exercise so those M shorts get looser! I don't put my Nike clothes in the dryer. I live on the coast. I like to wear shorts & layer a T-shirt & sweatshirt on sunny winter days. The young girls do, too. These are perfect! They have POCKETS!
