good shoe bad quality control
This review is not about the shoes because the shoes are good. I'm writing because I'm tired of Nike's quality control. This is the 3rd pair of shoes I purchased for someone as a gift, and they were a used pair. One time, they had someone's old socks in them and dirt on the bottom. I don't know about Nike anymore; I just say shop at your own risk.

Tight and off white.
The toe box is too small; the material is off-white. Not comfortable.

Great Soild shoe
I was skeptical at first, as I haven't worn Nike in over 15 years, and have problems finding the right shoes for my feet. However, upon putting the Nike Air Max Portal Sneakers on, they were comfortable right away, they are a solid shoe, not flimsy and give great support. I wore them the first day for 8 hours and felt like I had been wearing them for months.

Hard As A Rock Soles
I'm so bummed. These are honestly THE most uncomfortable tennis shoes I've ever owned! I really needed something stylish for working on my feet all day--other than Dansko or other ortho shoes. The reviews seemed decent for these. But I found them to be rock hard and not cushy, supportive, or airy at all. What's the point of the air bubble if it doesn't offer any actual relief? I wish I had purchased something different because my feet are aching, days later. :(

NAMPWS: (nike air max portal women shoe)
NAMPWS: affordable, provides comfort and structure for a good fit. I wear a 9.5. I ordered a size 9 was a little snug at the toe area. I returned and purchased the 9.5. Sometimes the shoe fit calls for a size or half a size down.
The Nike Air Portal Women's shoe is spot on with the size.
NIKE AIR MAX for me was a worth-it purchase.
