Air Max Koko Sandal (Women)

First the description here and on Nike both advise to size down, however that is incorrect and the reason I took one star away. I originally bought my size from Nike, but they sold out by the time I received them and I needed a bigger size. Thankfully Nordy has my back and so if you’re a halfster like myself, size up not down. Otherwise these are light weight super cushiony and the material on top along with the bungy ensure a nice snug fit. Worth the $100.

I really wish these came in half sizes. I’m a 6.5, and the Nordstrom description oh so helpfully advises half sizes to size down, just before advising half sizes to size up. The last pair of Nike shoes I bought ran small and I had to go up to a 7, and reviews also suggested sizing up, so I got a 7. They were way too big on me. I got the black, which were sold out in a 6, so I tried desperately to make the 7s work. I tightened the bungee cord a ridiculous amount and managed to get them to a point where they were secure, but there was so much extra space on the footbed and they looked ridiculous from the side. I ultimately couldn’t justify keeping a $100 pair of shoes that fit poorly, so they’ll be going back. Overall the shoes are super comfy and cute though, so I’d definitely recommend them if you can get your proper size.

I kept this for a full week hoping my feet would somehow adapt to walking in these. It probably is a "just me" thing, but my foot would slide to the side of these, almost causing me to eat some hardcore concrete several times. I mean, once or twice sure - but this was happening frequently enough that I had to sadly say bye. Falling in public is much more embarrassing than eating it at home. Cute design, just wish I wasn't a walking failure in them.
