EasyOn are the way to go
These are the shoes my middle school son wanted for back to school. I ordered the EasyOn version on a whim and I'm glad I did. If your kids are lazy like mine, these are perfect because he can just slip in and out of them without tying or untying them, but they don't have they goofy look that other brands slip-in shoes have.

Not easy to put on if you’re disabled
Requires a lot of force to slip on and the stiffness pulls my socks off my heels all day long and defeats the purpose of not having to bend over when putting on my shoes. These are advertised as disability friendly, “EasyOn”, but they don’t really seem that way to me. At least they don’t crease easily?

Disappointed
These shoes arrived without the metal shoelace plate. This was the one thing I looked for. My nephew was disappointed as he has been excited to receive these shoes.
