ACG Fleece Hoodie

Please restock these in new colors or sizes. Slightly alter it for the new season if you need a look change, I don’t care. This is the best hoodie I’ve ever owned that wasn’t sold from a luxury brand for insane money. I would sell my soul for a closet of these hoodies. They’re thick, they’re warm, they’re breathable even if it’s not subzero out, just overall amazing. It’s like you’re wearing the heavy X Ray tarp at the dentist, while feeling as light as a windbreaker at the same time. Give whoever designed these a Head of Design role. Pleaaaaase Nike, make more of these! No more ‘fleece pullovers’ this is the golden child!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband got a small (he's 5'6" and about 155lbs athletic build) in this hoodie and initially liked it a lot. It is a thick hoodie so it can sub for a light jacket. The outside is cotton but it feels more like a heavy duty cotton. It is really soft with fleece on the inside. The hoodie portion is actually quite large, but there are plastic cinch clips with elastic around the opening so you can cinch the hood opening tighter around your face. That feature is great for when it is windy - the hoodie won't blow off your head. There's a front pocket like a normal hoodie would have, but this one has a zipper on each side so you can keep things inside and no worry about losing things out of the side. The biggest complaint my husband has is that the it shrunk in the washing/drying machine.... A LOT. Now, my husband dries everything regardless of what tags say, and usually on a medium heat. Nevertheless, it shrank a lot - to the point where it could probably fit me comfortably (5"5" and 120lbs). He will still wear it to work out in, but it's a little too short in length and the sleeves now to really fit over any other layers. I know you shouldn't dry everything, but you'd think that it's athletic gear and should be able to hold up to drying. In my husband's defense, he figured it would take far too long to line dry since it is really thick. So FYI - don't dry it!

This is a nice quality and WARM piece. *IMPORTANT* sizing of ACG is all over the place. Sometimes things run small sometimes super big. This, to me, runs a little small or short. I am 6’1” and have a long upper body. I got a size XL and I wasn’t happy with the length so I got a XXL. It’s super roomy but long enough. This is for the outdoors, guys. It is very warm. Definitely good for a cold spring morning or winter days. The material is very heavy and durable. I like the added features like the zippers on the pocket and the elastic drawstring on the hood. Would have been nice to add one for the waist but it definitely would’ve made a very warm hoody much hotter. Overall very satisfied! Thanks! [Name removed]

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sweatshirt was great for my husband during the Minnesota winter. He likes that it is a heavy duty weight, but breathes well and doesn't feel suffocating. The fabric is also really soft and comfortable. He often wears just the sweatshirt to shovel rather than his typical outdoor jacket. The style is such that he can wear it around the house or out to run errands or see friends. He really likes that the draw strings are more like loops that you can tighten and loosen so there's not strings hanging everywhere. He also likes that the front pocket zips up on either side - great for not losing his phone and keys! Size-wise, my husband is currently more XL than L and the L in this sweatshirt was on the baggy side. He did say the style is not supposed to be fitted and he's fine with it being on the baggy side. It washed up really well (no pilling/shrinkage). My husband is a bit frugal so the only thing that would lower his likelihood of recommending this is the price point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great hoodie, very thick and durable. Soft and warm, of course, which should be a given for any hoodie. The pocket is nice and big and... wait for it... has zippers. Genius. While this is a great hoodie, there are a couple things I’d change if I could. First, the material has almost no stretch to it at all, which can be uncomfortable at times, and makes it difficult to put on and take off. Also, I’d prefer if the pocket wasn’t zipped on both ends, but rather if it had a smaller zipper pocket within. Overall, this is a great hoodie, would be right at home in a tough environment like outdoor work or carpentry and the like. Plus the zippered pocket is fantastic if you move around quite a bit and are worried about things falling out.
