Cushion is great, but it ends there.
The shoes are comfortable, but the tread wears very quickly, the upper shell tears on both shoes in the same place, and there is a suction the shoe creates on the bottom when you walk in water.

Fuelcell the way forward
The perfect running shoe, my third pair. Use for weekly training up to 600k per pair and still good for general use after. Would recommend to any runner at any level great feel light and propulsion technology improved my running posture certainly my go to shoe

Not comfortable
I love NB running shoes. I use the 1080 almost every day. But this one is really a disappointment. I am going to give it away (don't want to pay shipping for return) . This really Not comfortable with awkward dynamics. The look and design is fine but using it for running or even walking is really not comfortable. Don't know why, may be my foot specifically does not like this shoe.
