New Balance always work!
I have wide feet and love to walk & hike. New Balance never disappoint. I waited too long last time and the support finally gave out. I was so happy when my new shoes arrived-then I remembered WHY they need to be upgraded from time to time.

A bit stiff and sole is harder than other NB shoes.
Not as much cushioning as previous NB shoes for running. Comfortable but I'd not buy again.

Tread is terrible on wet surfaces
Initially I thought these were great but then it rained and I discovered the tread on the front of the sole is absolutely terrible, borderline dangerous on wet surfaces. So for that reason alone I would not recommend and hence the 1 star review.
