Fresh Foam X Hierro GORE-TEX^® Trail Running Shoe (Men)

The shoe looks great and is very comfortable, however it is not very rugged and not intended for major trail/hiking use. I purchased this shoe to try out and perhaps switch over from my Keen Hiking boots. This shoe did not come close to comparing. Its nice to use around the house and maybe take to the park, but not for extreme outdoor activities.

The shoe looks nice, and feels and appears to be of decent quality. However, there is a design flaw. Where the gusset of the tongue is stitched to join the body of the shoe, it forms a very hard spot on the upper inside, causing the corner of the tongue to dig into the foot. Both right and left shoes had the same issue in the same spot.

Eeveryone complains that the shoes are too tight, that they are bad, etc. These are the best shoes I have ever had for everyday use in cold and wet weather. the first day when I put them on, they were a little tight, but a couple of days later when I put them on for the second time they fit perfectly, thin or thick socks they are ideal, light and soft when walking on asphalt or trekking.
