Not the same shoe as before.
New Balance has changed this shoe. There are now metal tips behind the runner's knot holes at the top. The shoe is now larger than before.

NOT REALLY IMPRESSED
They're better than the memory foam shoes I bought a couple of months back. Mem foam is the pits. They're not as good as NB shoes that I have which are anywhere from three to six years old. These were relatively inexpensive, but most of your shoes these days are getting beyond my budget.
