Very tight, stiff, and on the small side for a 39
With a boot this style, you'd want the option to tuck leggings or tapered pants into the boot. That is not possible with the width of the shaft part that goes up the leg. I could not find a pair of socks that would allow me to wear these comfortably in the base part either. They were so tight for a 39. Doubtful they would break in enough over time, even if I went up a size.

Accurate narrow calf fit
I am petite 5’2 and these are perfect narrow calf boots. They are not too high, not too low, and they fit snug around the calves with no gap. Very rare to find!
