Bed Stu
Founded in L.A. in 1995 but inspired by the Brooklyn streets, Bed Stu handcrafts shoes and boots for women and men. The brand uses traditional shoemaking techniques like hand-weaving and hand-sewing, as well as natural leathers (from free-range animals when possible) and a vegetable-based tanning process, so each shoe is unique and imperfect but always genuine.

They are impossible to keep on.
These might work on wide feet, but definitely do not work for narrow.

Comfortable sandal however: the strap over your foot is not tight so your foot really needs to grab the sandal.

Bedstu sizing strikes again.
These sandals are beautiful and seem durable. But my biggest gripe with all the bedstu shoes I have purchased - this one included- is that sizing is always off. Most anywhere else I can order my regular size and it will fit as expected. Bedstu does not appear to have any standard sizing. They expect you to order and have fingers crossed that it will fit! And if you buy something on final sale, good luck! You will be stuck with something that SHOULD fit, but doesn't. Very frustrating. All this to say, these run a little small. I recommend going a half size up.

If your feet are wide, here’s your winner!
I love the way they look but my skinny, narrow feet can’t get a grip to keep them on. It’s like I was 5 and trying to walk in my dad’s slippers. The toe area and the band across the instep were huge…on me. Also, the thong was a little big between my toes and was irritating. That all said, the construction and workmanship was the usual BedStu fabulous. I’m sure they’ll look and feel great on someone else.

Love them!
True to size as usually have to do a 10 in sandals. I have a M width foot but can see these being wide for someone narrower. Love the multicolor design and Bed Stu products!
