Felt like a Queen!!!!
I wore this for an in NYC and felt like an absolute queen!! I received so many compliments throughout the night, it honestly felt so surreal. To be proudly wearing a South Asian design, that I purchased at Nordstrom, felt like an impossibility to the ten year old me who felt ashamed of being so “different” from my friends.
The color was so beautifully vibrant, the fabric was comfortable and I love the versatility of the different pieces.
Looking forward to wearing it to a wedding next!

My new wedding favorite
This gharara is a stunning!! The copper color is better in person and complimented my skin tone (I have a fairer complexion). The waistband in the pants was comfortable and I love love LOVED the mini dress. I plan on pairing the pants with a gold top and will try to update with pictures of both looks!! By far my new wedding favorite. Can't wait for fall to wear the full look again!

A Gorgeous Gharara
I was a little hesitant to purchase via Nordstrom, since typically my family will get most of our stuff made in India when traveling, but seeing South Asian brand represented mainstream is something I had to support. I am SO GLAD that I did!!! This gharara is GORGEOUS. The color is beautiful, the floral detailing is stunning and the fabric is comfortable. I'm 5'4 and wore 3 in. heels and the length didn't need to be altered.

I am in LOVE with this outfit!
The dress fits perfectly and even has room for easy alterations. I purchased a medium (I'm typically an 8-10 US) and it fit well! The mini dress looks super cute as a single piece and will definitely be wearing to a more casual event. I will say that the outfit is much more beautiful in person than in these photos. The floral detailing and color definitely don't pop like they do in person! If you buy this, be prepared to be stopped frequently because it definitely turns heads!!

extremely cheap quality
I own a lot of Pakistani/Indian dresses. Seriously, this outfit shouldn't be more than $40.
