My go-to high heel is the Sam Edelman pointed-toe pumps. I have them in black and nude and they’re absolutely elegant and serviceable for what they are, but sometimes life throws a different demand your way. I’ll be performing a violin solo in May with my orchstra directly after attending a wedding, and I knew that walking around all day and then standing in those pumps would have left me hobbled very badly. I’m standing in my kitchen trying on these Naturalizer strappy sandals for the first time. I can’t believe a heel this high could be this easy to wear. The sole is soft and all the pressure points feel cushioned. They are stable while still looking so amazingly elegant. The brand admittedly scared me off before I ordered, like other reviewers I thought that an elegant event certainly couldn’t call for Naturalizers! Now I’m simply plotting which color to purchase next. Naturalizer, if you’re reading this, please give this shoe’s designer a raise and a promotion. Not only are they treating my feet like precious delicate lilies, they have changed my heart and mind about your brand’s image.
