Unrelated: Nordstrom, please fix your form validation - why are special characters not allowed in the headline? Why can display names not have spaces? Why do I have to reenter my info for every review? These are solved problems

Odd fit and odd problem
I can tell that these loafers should be super comfortable; unfortunately, the heel is too loose causing the foot to slide out when walking. The shoes fit true to size- I wear a 9 and my foot fits comfortably in the shoe- a 8.5 would be too small, a 9.5 would be too big. I have tried everything to make these work: inserts, heel grips, thin socks, thick socks, no socks. The shoes are super cute, and the thick sole is ideal for being on your feet a lot, but unfortunately, the fit is super frustrating. I cannot recommend these as I don't see how they will every stay on the foot.

French Navy color is not real leather
Which is a bummer, because they are snug and will never stretch with time. Sizing up would cause heel slippage. Very pretty shoes.
