I made this purchase with a few reservations based on a few negative reviews but really wanted a pink robe so decided to purchase this one as I was having a difficult time finding something in stock in a size medium. I included a pic that very accurately shows the color. I personally think it’s very pretty and don’t understand some reviewers describing it as dull or other negative comments about not being a nice pink. It is much prettier than I anticipated. Another negative remark in reviews concerned the fabric being less than
comfortable. Yes, out of the package it was not nearly as soft as I wanted but knowing the amazing return service offered by Nordstrom I decided to wash and dry before making a final determination. I washed on regular setting and dried with a dryer sheet and am satisfied that the robe did not shrink and although not a cooshy soft fabric it is not at all uncomfortable. In fact I like it very much. I think most would be extremely pleased with this purchase as I am.

looks nice, smells horrible
I was initially excited about this robe because it fits great and is a nice weight. I ordered it in pink and the color is very nice.
I noticed a faint singed odor when it came out of the package but nothing horrible. As soon as it was in the wash, the burning hair smell became more noticeable. By the time I had dried it, the stink was so bad I hung it outside. I have now washed this robe five or six times with vinegar and various scent-removing additives and it still isn’t wearable. It is starting to pull and look dingy already so it probably wouldn’t have held up anyway. Since I tossed out the tags when I tried it on, I guess I’m just out the cost of the robe when I give up and throw it away.

Extremely comfortable - will shrink considerably
I wish so much this robe was perfect. It is so soft and lightweight - the material and construction is absolutely perfect. I originally ordered a small (5'7" and currently 7 months pregnant) it was just slightly too small. I ordered the medium and it was a little bit bigger than I would normally wear but kept it based on how my body could continue to change. Unfortunately washing in cold water and drying on low heat considerably shrunk the material and pilled all over the other clothes.

Disappointing
I have bought this brand before, so I felt I could buy a robe online without seeing it. Big mistake-it smelled terrible, even after two washes-like cardboard boxes and bug spray. Also, the color was a dingy grayish pink, not at all the color advertised. I will be returning it.

I bought this robe last week at the new NYC store. I am in love with this robe! So soft, I feel hugged each time I put it on. The pockets (2) are everything. And it is just the right weight.

Perfect!
Received this robe for Christmas and I’m in love!! It’s perfect. So soft and cozy without the bulk and awesome length. Great all around robe to get ready in, take the dog out at night, make breakfast in the morning and sip coffee in on lazy weekend. Very pleased and would highly recommend and purchase again.
