I've been looking for a good basic, long robe -- and here it is. The modal is very soft; there's no lace, no ornamentation, just nice fabric. I can throw this on over PJs or a gown, and it provides plenty of coverage without being bulky.

A disappointment
I am sorry that this robe won't be a keeper. I wanted it for a lightweight travel robe. I am not satisfied with the quality, even if the price had been half I would not consider it to be satifactory quality. The fabric is soft, which is nice. However, it is also very flimsy and not heavy enough to wear without something underneath. The side seam pocket are difficult to get into and bunch up (adding volume at the hip...not good!). The length is very sufficient at lower calf (I am 5'9"). The color is also a bit garish. Overall, very disappointing.

Major Disappointment
When I first spotted this robe, I could not wait to place my order. After about four years, I finally found the robe I'd been searching for. It was long, knit fabric and my absolute favorite color! The robe is a little big in the shoulder area, but wraps around the body nicely. I've laundered this robe separately, and hung to dry. After wearing the robe for little more than a month, the fabric is pilled all over. Instead of a new robe, my robe looks like it's about 5-6 years old. I'm really disappointed as the robe was exactly what I was looking for and expensive too.

Nice, soft basic.
I've been looking for a good basic, long robe -- and here it is. The modal is very soft; there's no lace, no ornamentation, just nice fabric. I can throw this on over PJs or a gown, and it provides plenty of coverage without being bulky.

So happy - I bought 3!
I have been looking for the right robe for a long time. I've tried many and returned them all. This one was PERFECT. The fit and drape is just gorgeous on. No bunching and frumping you out. The material is perfect and lightweight....I get hot easily in the evenings. I was SO happy I returned to purchase another one and one for my daughter. All in the color black. When you find something you love....buy extra if you can....that's what I've learned over the years. I'm 5'6" and I'll go with 159 lbs. :-) 36 DD top and I got a size Large and it's VERY roomy, but looks just gorgeous on and I can easily adjust for a tighter fit as needed. Love this one!

Soft, elegant, and a little sexy
This robe was just what I was looking for. I wanted something comfortable, long, but made me feel pretty for when I was in the hospital after giving birth to Baby No. 2, and this was just about perfect. I say "just about" because the overlap of the robe in the front leaves a little bit too high of a slit for what I was going for; but now post-baby it like really elegant with just enough sexy for those mornings when I'm not quite ready to get dressed for the day (which obviously happens a lot now). I feel so great in this robe. It's super soft and comfy, and the navy blue I purchased is a mature neutral that I'll never grow tired of. I'm 5'8" and 125 lbs. post-baby, and the small offers plenty of room for comfort. Also, I will add that I've washed it a few times now on cold and let it line dry. There has been some pilling, as other reviewers have noted; however, that's to be expected with most knits, in my opinion, and it's not so bad as to detract from the beauty of this robe.
Bottom line: every woman, I've decided, needs a robe to feel fabulous in as soon as she steps out of bed, and this robe is it.

Dissatisfied
I'm surprised at the number of great reviews for this robe. I loved it in the store and bought it immediately, the fabric was so soft and lovely.
I have washed it 3or 4 times according to directions- the fabric is pilling already!

No Robe Loop.
I bought this robe because of the outstanding reviews. It's okay. It's not that soft and I find it difficult to believe that there is no robe loop to put it on a hook. Everytime I wear it I have to hang it on my hooks in the bathroom for fear of putting a hole in it.
The best feature is the 3/4 length sleeves which don't get in the way of doing dishes or washing. Otherwise, it's very average.
