Nasrin Ankle Strap Platform Wedge Sandal (Women)

I wanted the shoe to work so bad because they’re really cute on your foot!!!!!! But as of late, it seems that a lot of companies making shoes are cutting corners on basic construction required for shoes to actually be functional!! As it pertains to this shoe, the strap that goes around the heel is basically a raw piece of leather with zero elastic built-in to the buckle hardware. So… there’s NO give when you try to walk … there’s no elastic bands built in anywhere in the construction of the shoe for any give while actually walking. The leather strap is some directly into the seam of the shoe at all points of construction. Which in turn, anchors the leather strap to the back of your heel.. I stood in my living room in the shoes for about 15 minutes, and the back of my heel was on fire. To compound this issue, the soul of the shoe has zero flexibility or give.. so there again, all the stress goes onto the leather buckle and strap which wraps around the heel.. After taking the shoe off, just from trying it on, It looks like the leather strap has already started to show the stress where the fitted holes are cut. Essentially, the construction is something that you would find in a great knock off shoe at target . So I’d pay the price for these shoes that I would if I were to find these sandals at target ….maybe . …But ultimately you can’t really wear these shoes to any outing where there would be any amount of walking going on… it’s such a shame that shoe companies have forgotten the purpose of shoes.. you have to be able to actually walk in them!!!
