Nashi Blossom Cologne

I spray my Nashi on usually in the daytime before I go out. It's like a pocket of sunshine, and fresh floral goodness. It immediately uplifts me and has me thinking I'm laying in a field of flowers on a spring day with somebody lightly misting me or something. It's nice and light, so it's great in an office or classroom--won't bother anyone around you. It's not overwhelming. It's very balanced. It's definitely going to be my scent for the spring and summer. I would definitely say it feel like a "younger" scent (like 20s-30s). Maybe it's the fresh element? Because of the airiness/lightness of it though, I do have to layer. I start with an unscented lotion or oil, then spray the Nashi on top. That way, I can continue to smell it until my work day is over. It's kinda perfect to get a whiff of sunshine when you're working.

I've been scrolling the Jo Malone site for a few weeks looking to make a purchase. I was excited to see the blossom collection because I wanted a spring/summer scent that would be light and fresh. I chose the Nashi Blossom based on some of the notes. When I received my package there were two samples inside. (A sample bottle and a card) The peony sample smelled exquisite! Then I smelled the yellow and red hibiscus Blossom samples. The yellow one wasy favorite! That was the EXACT scent I was looking for! Light, floral, and fresh! The red one wasn't really for me...but was very sultry and deep. Perfect for a date night or a midnight rendezvous. So by this point, I was eager to smell my full size bottle. Initially, just smelling it out of the bottle it was "nice". Not wow, just nice. I sprayed it.onto my skin and it just wasn't it. It's sad because it smelled better in the bottle. I will still wear it and layer it with another scent. Definitely going with the yellow hibiscus next time!
