my fav lipsticks!
amazing shades, & nothing beats the staying power of their more matte colors. (lasts way longer than mac.) some can be a bit drying tho.
as a pale asian, my go to everyday color is catfight. just lovely, especially when paired w/ taupe lids. if i'm looking kind of dead, then niagara to wake up my complexion. i was using scarlet empress or red lizard for my red lip look... looks ok but is a bit harsh. afghan red is a better red on me, even works daytime. schiap is a fun alternative for bold lips; it's definitely a look-at-me shade yet is surprisingly flattering on many.
the only color that i found totally blah is barbarella. but that is the only one out of the many nars lipsticks i've tried!

I normally love NARS lipstick, and I like this formula fine, but the color is misprepresented major league. It looks like a pinkish grape; in reality it is a burnt orangey. Very disappointed. A waste of 28.00.

my fav lipsticks!

Awesome lipsticks. Niagara makes your lips look like you just ate watermelon. Flattering on everyone

It's been a long time...
...Since I've put on a lipstick that I just LOVE LOVE LOVE like I do this one. The Rosecliff color is such a flattering pinky-mauve-neutral that I would imagine looks nice on many different skin tones. I'm headed back to Nordstrom tomorrow to get another one to use when this brand new one runs out. Silly I know, but that's how much I love it! Long lasting and moisturizing too.

My new addiction
This is my first time trying NARS lipstick, and I can't get enough of it. The color comes out a little redder and lighter then it looks.. but a few coats and layer with a brown lipstick and it looks amazing !! The color stayed on all night when I was oUT and goes on so smooth. I recommend this to anyone who loves lipstick and make up

VIP Red - Finally, a color a red head can wear!
I need orangey based shades as all the pink & blue based shades clash with my red hair. This is the first shade since Autumn Leaves to look good on me. A very intense, saturated brick red.

Heat Wave and Funny Face
I bought the heat wave and funny face colors. They are great colors, but the lipstick is just ok for me. The heat wave is my favorite and what I expected - a bright orangey red. The funny face color is a great fuschia, but it is very matte so it makes my lips look dry. I like the colors but wouldn't say this lipstick lasts longer than any other lipsticks I own.
