Excellent...well, some colors are
I have a love hate relationship with NARS. I really think some of the blush colors in this collection are ruined by either too much shimmer or actual pieces of glitter in the formula. To me, it's not a look that I feel is flattering on anyone over 15 and it can be aging and just a bit too overtly made up for my personal taste. So some colors have always been ones that I've passed on despite the fact that if they were in a less glittery formula, I'd love to try.
Everyone goes on and on about "orgasm" being the best blush color, but I still feel it's got quite a bit of shimmer to it and it has a ruddy undertone, so that isn't really the best for fairer or very yellow toned skin.
To me, the best stand-out blush in this collection is "deep throat" which does have a little sheen to it, but once you put it on, you don't really see shimmer, you just see a peachy glow. What I love about it is that it really can be used on any skin tone as it has a more neutral non-red undertone and it shows up on very light to very dark skin.
I'd highly recommend it and it's one I have gone back to time and again. The consistency is great and a little goes a long way, so the product lasts for a lot longer than others.
