'Ardisia' Slide Sandal (Women)

These just might be the most comfortable, versatile and classic sandals I've ever owned. I bought them in the latte color and they work with every color, dress, skirt, slacks, jeans, capris in my wardrobe, dressed up, casual, etc. etc. I love them so much that I did something I never do, bought a second pair in the exact same color. I never want to be without these shoes, they will never go out of style. The arch support hits me in just the right place, the size 39 is perfect (I'm somewhere between a 7.5 and an 8 US size). And normally I can't wear sandals without a back strap, but because of the way they're cut my foot stays in place and doesn't feel like it's going to slip out. I can't say enough good things about these sandals. At 57 years old it's a great day when you find a pair of shoes you can get really excited about, these are fantastic!

I ordered this sandal because I love Naot footwear and this slip-on style is available in my small size (US4.5/Euro35). When these arrived I was surprised that the color was completely different than the online photo -- instead of the tan/brownish leather color shown on the website, they were light gray/charcoal/silver (which actually fits the given description "Vintage Slate" much better than the tan color in the accompanying photo). At first I was bummed out and turned off, but after trying them on and walking around in them -- enjoying the super comfy fit of Naot sandal soles that perfectly fit my tiny feet with good arch support (like "walking on clouds"), now I am reconsidering whether I will return them... I'm thinking that I love the fit and the easy slip-on/slip-off style so much that perhaps comfort is far more important than color. Gray sandals may also work better when worn with black leggings and jeans than brown... We'll see what happens when winter is over! I love shoe shopping at Nordstrom.com, but this website color error should be corrected. Thank you!

Very sturdy, chunky sandal, though not heavy. Wide top keeps foot in place. Good tread. I thought it ran a tad large for a 36, but it's not offered in a 35. Definitely a functional sandal and not a dressy one. Though I do like it, sometimes I look at it and think it was misnamed. It should be called "Bertha."

Darn. I hate returning shoes so often, but in this style I fall between a 37 and 38M. The 37 is a true size 6 this time, not the 6 1/2-7 that normally fits me. If you have a similar issue, and the toes need more room, I'm much happier in Finn Comfort's Sansibar, which Nordstrom has in four colors this year. Sorry Naot.
