Poor service

Seriously? Regarding a request to rate a purchase, "This is a service message from Nordstrom. Please know you’re unable to opt out of service messages." If I can't put out from unsolicited messages, I can block them.

Unreliable

Really great camera when it works, but it’s completely unreliable. After 5 or 6 nights of it randomly losing connection and waking up to a crying baby that’s been crying for who knows how long, I had to buy a back up monitor. This monitor is also impossible to use in hotel rooms. And the constant money grab for subscriptions is gross. This thing is worth nowhere close to $300.

The temperature sensor never seems

The temperature sensor never seems to be right and every time he moves it says that the baby woke up even if he is just rolling over. It makes him have a worse sleep score and my wife takes it as a challenge to try and get him to sleep better even though he is sleeping through the night.

As a mom of two,

As a mom of two, I can confidently say that Nanit is hands down the best baby monitor we've owned, and we've tried three other brands! What really sets Nanit apart is the convenience and peace of mind it provides. With two little ones, being able to see both cameras on one screen while simultaneously hearing both boys is an absolute must-have. It's one of those features you don't realize how much you need until you have it! We love the system so much that we even purchased the Nanit tablet for an added layer of convenience, and it's been a great addition to our setup. My one area for improvement would be the two-way audio feature within the app. There have been several occasions when I've tried to speak through the camera and received an error message, requiring me to completely close and reopen the app before trying again. It's a minor frustration, but one that can be inconvenient when you're trying to quickly communicate with your child. Overall, Nanit has exceeded our expectations. After going through several other monitors, I genuinely wish we'd invested in Nanit from the beginning. It's reliable, thoughtfully designed for growing families, and a product I'd absolutely recommend to other parents!
