Tiny Metro Tote

I did my research on this bag, watched videos, read peoples reviews and thought I would give it a go. What a disappointment, it's so teeny tiny, yeah I can see it's tiny, but in person it's even smaller. I thought maybe I could get keys, a lipstick and some cards in it. Nope, it's just to small. What is the function of this item? I appreciate the smallness, I don't need a big bag, bit it al least needs to fit the items I mentioned above and a phone to be useful. The crossbody strap feels really cheap, like a shoelace, and should have the option to remove it, and not by using a scissor I loved the Anthracite so that's something positive.
