Medium Metro Tote

This bag is listed as the quilted Lacquer tote which is in error. It’s the cotton finish, not the patent-like shine. Nordstrom really should double check the items they are selling, against the description. This is not the first time I’ve had to return an item for being misrepresented in the listing. Very disappointed.

I have the Black lacquered metro and really like this bag. It has a timeless patent look to it and gives a little glam to my everyday wear. It is a bit stiffer than my other MZ Wallace fabric metro bags. It actually stands up straight when it sits due to the lacquered coating. I believe it will be easier to wipe up this winter if you live somewhere that gets sloppy winter weather and find that you sit your bag on the floor at times. I'm happy with my purchase and have been using it daily.

This brands reputation for style, quality, and long lasting products really dropped the ball on this one. The silver quilting looks like I made it from old foil in my pantry. The bag is shapeless and difficult to open the top zipper. My husband was watching as I unpacked this recent purchase from its UPS box and kept looking at me like "what were you thinking?" as I reviewed this tote. BACK it goes, and not fast enough. Thank you Nordstroms for carrying quality, sometimes a designer lets you down.
