Large Metro Tote

I really wanted to love this bag as I do my other MZ Wallsces. It's lightweight and I love the hardware, but that's about all I love. The included zip bags are of such cheap material they look and feel disposable! They're nothing like the bags that come with the Jane or Kate. Next, the straps. Others mention this but don't give the issue much weight. The shoulder straps are so ridiculously slippery they're unusable. I literally am unable to pop this bag on my shoulder to free my hands for kids or anything else. Soooo frustrating. Next, the long adjustable strap: it's way too long on the very shortest setting. I'm not short, I'm 5'7", however I am slim, which also affects where the strap and bag fall. On the very shortest (doubled fully) setting, the bag falls past my bum and to the backs of my knees. Not only is this NOT stylish, it makes the bag bounce and bump my legs as I walk. I expected to be able to shorten this strap and sling the bag messenger-style to bike. Absolutely not an option. Bag and strap fall to the back wheel of the bike. Who the heck tested this stuff out??? It's so simple to fix this stuff but also so make-or-break. Very bummed that this bag is such a miss.

I love this bag. Its light weight, stays clean, is very functional as it includes an matching pouch that can be attached or unacttached. I throw all my fly away items in the convienent pouch (gum, tissue, hand sanatizer, etc). There are so many great interia wall pockets to hold 2 cells phones, lip gloss, etc and even a special slot for my metro card and work ID for easy access. It wears well in all weather and I get loads of compliments. I commutte into NYC and travel alot. This is a great bag.

I purchased the Medium Metro and love it. I normally change handbags every few days, but I have been using the Medium Metro Tote for almost 3 weeks now. I decided to get the Large Metro for my carry on bag. The only problem with the tote is the BLACK inside which makes it difficult to see inside if your wallet is BLACK. Im just switching to colorful things inside. Kyle is SUPER! After purchasing these two, she wants me to buy more and made suggestions! I am spending too much $$, but love the Nordies notes. I adore zipper topped totes and stylish totes w/ zippers are hard to find. Hate driving and have my stuff spill out on the front passenger seat. This is my first of many M Z Wallace totes for sure! I'm going to enjoying using the 3 inside pouches. Of course the designers are ladies from NY - this tote is functional. Zippers are great quality. Can honestly only give 4 stars since I just took it out the box and have yet to carry my laptop and whatever else. Chic for everday and on the plane.
