Bowery Quatro Water Resistant Nylon Tote

I am always on the lookout for a cute, spacious, functional shoulder tote for traveling by plane or car, or even around town. This one fits the bill: a great size for me using the top handles over my shoulder. Zip top means I don’t worry about my snacks and personal items rolling all around the plane or bus. Lots of pockets, interior and exterior, slip pockets for phone and zippered pockets for valuables and keys, but the main interior compartment is still roomy enough for a sweater, water bottle, and a couple of books or journals or iPad. Seriously! I have given this type of bag a lot of thought and this is functional and cute enough to replace my former favorite, a zip top tote by Briggs and Riley that’s purpose made for travel. LOVE the shiny green of the camo, but the black bag is also attractive and useful! Oh and I haven’t used the interior flat zip bag that can be attached inside, but it’s a nice way not to lose tickets or boarding passes if you’re old school like me. Last thing, I thought it was maybe too big because the model on the product page is petite, but I’m 5’8” and 165lbs and it is very well proportioned as an all purpose bag.

I love mz Wallace bags for the functionality and this tote is amazing. It can hold so much, has four outside pockets, nice thin straps and a crossbody strap that’s comfortable. I ordered the teal color and was surprised when I opened the box and saw how dark the color is, which is why I included a picture. It almost looks black. I recommend this bag just not a fan of the teal color.

I have received MZ Wallace bags in Trunk Club shipments before. They are well made and have great utility with tons of pockets, zippered pouches and so forth. I’ve always sent them back, however, because of the bulky shape of the tote and the overall lack of pizzazz. Enter this fabulous bag—it’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a bag!! Spacious but slim, it lies flat against my side worn as a crossbody. The wide, comfortable seat-belt webbing style crossbody strap is infinitely adjustable and is actually comfortable and hits at my hip even on my short (5’ 4”) and not so svelte (XL) frame. Tons of pockets with and without zippers keep me organized and my items secure even when I accidentally dump it over in the back of the SUV. The lime metallic camo print makes me smile and satisfies my need for something fun and eye catching. Well done, MZ Wallace!!
