Murad Essential C SPF: Best of Both Worlds
I like Vitamin C skin products and wanted to a new Broad Spectrum SPF face cream for the summer to refresh my routine. This is the best of both worlds. I have worn it over serum, and under various foundation powders and creams in warm and cool weather, skin feels comfortably hydrated all day. Not heavy, high performance, faint citrus scent. I like the packaging in a hygienic, travel friendly, color coded see thru tube with big typeface; that it includes advanced skin care ingredients, is paraben free, and gentle for sensitive skin.
New to Murad after I received a sample SPF tube, checked out the product web page and explored the brand. Love the purple GWP bag with the abstract painting lining by Dr. Murad.

Moisurizer
It is a little greasy for me but I have oily/combo skin. & I don't like the sunscreen in my moisturizer it does go on white

Murad Essential C SPF: Best of Both Worlds

More Sunscreen Than Moisturizer
I wanted a day moisturizer -- hopefully with anti-aging benefits -- that also protected me from the sun. This is not that product. It's just too heavy and greasy for me to wear everyday. Super-shiny is just not a good look for this mature woman. I'll continue to use it on days when I know I'll be exposed to a fair amount of sun, but once it's used up I will not repurchase, as I've already found a different product that is heavy and greasy like this one -- with a stronger sunscreen.
Still looking for the Holy Grail of anti-aging moisturizer with sunscreen ...

favorite everyday sunscreen but it’s pricey
I have dry to normal skin and I am in my late twenties. I love this sunscreen because it doesn’t break me out, I can tolerate the smell (light citric smell that goes away and doesn’t linger), sinks into the skin instantly, moisturizing in the summer (winter it’s not enough) , and doesn’t leave a white cast (olive skin). I will say this is a good everyday sunscreen and not for intense activity. The biggest dislike is the price. I feel it lasts a moderate amount of time but I do have to buy multiple a year and the price adds up. Still because I actually use it daily and feel it has improved my skin I repurchase it. Gave it to my mother who has dry mature skin and she loves it.
