Clarifying Toner

As a 29 year old suffering from adult acne for the last 4 years I've tried almost everything. Skinceuticals, kiehls, Bobbi Brown, etc. I finally caved when the regional director of Murad when she offered to do a mini facial. She shared her own story of success with the adult acne regimen. After 3 months, my skin has changed so much. I had severe cystic acne, scaring, and it would linger for weeks. Going without make up wasn't even an option. After using Murad anti-aging acne cleanser (this is different than the regular acne cleanser), followed by this toner, acne clearing solution and spot fix I've seen such a difference! I can go without makeup most days or minimum coverage if I do need to cover a blemish. I do still get some small blemishes but they are gone within 48 hours now. If you've had adult acne this is definitely worth trying. Murad will also tell you that eating hydrating fruits and veggies is important to making the system work from the inside out, which I do along with lots of water. Everyone's skin is different and what works for some doesn't work for others but this is worth a try if you suffer from adult acne! The women will even help with a mini facial if you ask to show you what works best for your skin!

I am Asian with very oily skin, although no acne. My makeup always got greasy within an hour of application and I touched up 10 times a day to keep the oilat bay. A friend recommended I change my skincare. I use the Murad clarifying toner and the oil control mattifying lotion and WOW! Now my face and makeup stays fresh for the entire day. I don't look oily and I only have to touch up my powder late in the day. Honestly the best investment I have made for my skin :) Worth every penny!

I stopped using any type of toner for about almost a year because they were all drying my skin out way too much. I came back to this one though because of its cleansing abilities. So far I have not been experiencing any issues with dryness! I actually really love it! It does tingle a bit so be prepared for that! I use this after my cleanser and exfoliant and follow up with the acne clarifying gel and a SpF by day or lotion at night

My main complaint is that the toner smells very strongly of alcohol. But despite the intense smell, it doesn't actually feel drying at all on the skin. It will definitely burn a little though if you have acne or sensitive skin. With regards to the packaging, I don't like that when you remove the cap, there's is no rubber thing with a smaller circle to control how much toner you pour onto a cotton pad. It essentially is like trying to put a cotton ball over an acetone bottle. Overall, good product for acne prone skin but definitely has its flaws and not great enough that I feel compelled to repurchase.

This toner is a holy grail in my skincare routine. I typically have really good skin but sometimes i break out from stress or my period and this saves my skin! Has a tiny burning sensation but i think thats just the toner working its magic. Only need a little bit for my whole face. If your prone to acne or just want your skin feeling clean and fresh this a must buy!
