Pisces Sandal (Women)

Love them! I bought them in black. They are the most stylish sandal with true comfort and support. I walked over 12 miles a day in the cobblestone streets of Rome, Italy, exploring ancient ruins, museums, and shops. They are dressy enough to wear with skirts/dresses because of the patent leather strap. I am so happy with them that I bought two extra pair.

I was pleasantly surprised to find these on Nordstrom's website and on sale as I thought they had done away with offering narrow shoes years ago. To summarize: True to size - 9N Light weight Easy to get on Stylish Comfortable More detail: It is a true Narrow. Have only worn the sandals around the house as it is not sandal weather here yet...but they are immediately comfortable and light weight. I started out with a Steve Madden Bandi Platform Wedge pair of sandals...described as narrow so order down a half-size...but they were not that narrow. Don't waste your time. (Anyone with a narrow foot knows the discomfort of having a shoe or sandal move around as you walk not to mention the foot problems it can create.) They were also very heavy. Had to return them for got these for $30.00 more but worth it. I usually take a 9N...and these are spot on a 9N. I wanted a more sporty everyday look and got the one with the grommets and black leather. (See photos below.) The back band is a fabric similar to gross-grain ribbon in appearance with about 1" of stretch. No buckles, velcro, elastic wrap straps. Just put 'em on and go.

I am thrilled with this sandal. I wear a "AA" and often times find a shoe is marketed as "narrow" but truly isn't; this elastic band snugly holds my foot in place rather than letting it slide around making it necessary to 'doctor' the shoes or return them. As much as I'd like to wear darling 'strappy' sandals, I can't ... but these sandals are going to allow me to enjoy summer while showing my toes!

These shoes are very nice and will go well with white jeans or pants. They will probably make good walking shoes. That said, I had to return the narrows and try for a medium width. The fit was way too tight. I have narrow feet and usually take a narrow or AA. The elastic on both the back and top band is very snug - not too much give. That's probably good, if the shoe fits well. It will make for good support.

When your foot is a 91/2 or 10 Super Slim, you are usually at a loss to find any shoe that fits well, especially around the heel. This sandal fits like a glove with the promise that it will keep it's shape for the entire summer. The front strap has just the right snugness and the back elastic strap stays in place. The only reason I am giving it a four instead of five star is that the leather part is more gold than platinum but it is still neutral enough for my summer wardrobe. I ordered this shoe in a 10 SS and there is just a comfortable margin of sole showing beyond my toes so I would think it runs true to size.
