Mr. Evans Wingtip Oxford (Women)

I am a solid size 12 in women's and have been since high school. I also have a pretty awesome collection of loafers because I love feminized mens wear. Just recently discovered this brand and tried this Oxford. I read many reviews on this shoe and was concerned that my normal size 12 would not fit even though many said it was true to size so I tried the 13. Kinda glad I did. No 12.5 available. What is true is the quality and craftsmanship are unmistakeable. As far as length, the shoe is true to size. I do not have wide feet, but boy of boy is that toe box tight. If you have any thickened skin on your toes, think corns or bunions, these shoes will initially fit uncomfortably. I have put my shoe trees in and have them at work in the toe box because I do have thickened skin on one of my toes, not a corn but because of this shoes tightness in the toe box, it rubs on it and boy it's uncomfortable. Aside from the tight toe box, these shoes wear and walk beautifully. I feel confident in each step because of the solid construction. Comfortable out the box? Nope. I bought these in hopes of wearing for a conference, but there is no way in the world Id wear these straight out the box to a conference. Im going to work on breaking them in, and see if they'll be ready to go for the conference next month! Great investment. Recommend but know if you have larger feet, the toe box box I on the tight side and may need a little breaking in to make it a lot more comortable.
