The Undercover High Waist Wide Leg Jeans

I ordered these and the Swooner jeans, and am going with these based on a few features. They are more of a loose fit in the waist, hips, and upper thighs than the Swooner wide leg, which was what I was looking for. They are also longer and even wider in the leg. These are really wide legged, but somehow really flattering at the same time. The fabric makes me understand why people love Mother jeans, it's sturdy yet stretchy, truly perfect denim! I am only taking off a star because they are really long, I wouldn't have had to have the Swooner jeans hemmed but will need to take these in for alterations.

Fresh out of the package these were comfortable in the waist and super long on my 5’ 5’’ frame. No biggie! I washed and dried them per the tags instructions. They shrunk at least 2 inches in length and now I can barely button. I get jeans shrink in the wash but this is more than normal for any jeans, but especially for ones this expensive. They also came out of the wash very wrinkly and the bottom hem is flipped up. Just don’t seem to be the best quality for the price.
