The Tomcat Ripped Crop Straight Leg Jeans

I’m 5’3 and 104lbs with a 24 waist. I typically wear 24 jeans with the exception of Agolde as I’m 23. I found Running with Scissors and The Confession to fit completely different. In Confessions I took a 23 and they fit perfectly with a little room in the thigh. Confessions are also a lot softer than Running. Running with Scissors I took a 25. Running are tight in the thighs/butt and I do have a waist gap along with being a little thicker material. I love them both.

I am 5’7 with long legs and the fit was perfect. I was worried they would seem too “cropped” but I am obsessed with the fit. I wore them out with sandals and everyone was asking me where I got them! So flattering on the booty cheeks. I will absolutely wear these until they fall apart! The reviews are right, minimal stretch so I did size up to a 27! I prefer the high rise and these fit over my belly button

I love the style and wash of these jeans. I’m writing this review to share my experience on sizing. So many reviewers warned to size up, so I did. When they arrived, I felt like they were slightly big, so I ordered my usual size. I can see why people say to size up as there is NO stretch in these jeans so my normal size was definitely on the tighter side, but still work. I’m honestly on the fence as to which size to keep. If you’re wanting a looser, relaxed fit, or are in-between sizes, I’d say size up. If you want more fitted, get your normal size. For reference, I am 5’4 115lb and my normal size is 25. The first 2 pics are the 25’s, the last 3 are the 26’s.

These are amazing. They are a heavier weight, soft denim that seem to have no stretch, but there might be a tiny bit in there. The distressing and wash are beautiful. They have a button fly which isn't always great, but these lay flat and hit right at my navel. They are a high rise, but not ridiculous...just perfect for me. I am 5'4, so they are not as cropped as in the photo. They hit at my ankle bone which I love. Something to consider...I found that they run at least a size small. Once I found my correct size, these were keepers.

The inseam description maybe off. The inseam of the 28 is 27" and 27 the inseam was 26". I am 5'5" with shorter legs and the 27" hits 2" above my ankle bone. In other brands I wear a 27 when the content is 98%cotton/2%elastane content. I will wear a 26 with higher stretch jeans. I can wear either size but to have a look closer to the model I need keep the 27 (although it still looks looser in the legs than pictured here). In the 27 the waist feels tight and hopefully will stretch out a little. The 28 is comfortable in the waist but will have a looser look on the legs more like a boyfriend cut. Really love the distressing on these jeans. The wash in person looks a little lighter and has a slight yellow tone. Overall the weight of the jean is heavier than other brands which is a plus.
