The Stunner Ankle Step Fray Jeans (Nordstrom Exclusive)

The fit of these Mothers is great however I bought my normal size 28 and they have stretched out a fair amount however I am afraid if I had sized down to a 27 they would have been way too tight! The color is great and the fabric is soft, stretchy and comfortable. For reference I am 5'8" 150 lbs.

The "Not Guilty" is an all black skinny jean with some fraying at the bottom. I don't like a lot of frays so I just trim them. They have some stretch in them so they are very comfortable. They look great and are very versatile (casual or dressed up). I am 5'1", 115 lbs, and curvy and I got them in my normal Mother Jean size 29. I like my jeans a little loose so I always order one size larger. They fit right at my ankle which is perfect for me. I would highly recommend them. This brand is my favorite for being comfortable, fit, length, etc. I love this brand, but I wish they were a little cheaper.

I bought these in my correct size and they fit just ok. They were not high rise on me. The legs were a bit loose in the thigh and a bit tight in the lower leg. Not a fit I would expect in a high end pair of jeans. The fabric felt thin, cheap and scratchy. I returned them right away. It was disappointing because they look so beautiful online.

I love Mother jeans and these did not disappoint! Color and fit are exactly what I was looking for. For reference I’m 5’6 135lbs, athletic build, normally a size 27 and 26 fits perfectly.

The fact that these aren't rated 5 stars makes me wonder. These jeans are perfection. They are so flattering on. Received so many complaints when I wore them. Wish I could wear them everyday. They make me look skinnier. love the gray color. They are soft & stretchy but not too stretchy. They hold their shape. Love the frayed hem. Nice touch. I wish these came in more colors i.e black, dark blue & med blue. Wish the price point was better but still worth it. I was hesitant when the sales girl recommended them because of the price. But then she said everyone that tries them on falls in love. So i had to see what all the fuss was about. I tried them on & fell in love with them too. She was right. My 1st pair of MOTHER teams & it won't be my last. They have become my new favorites & I own at least 30 pairs of jeans. They run true to size. I'm not sure why everyone says to size down. I'm a 28 & I got a 28. I wear size 6 in pants & dresses. They fit great but I would say they are on the tighter side compared to my other 28 jeans. I might buy a 2nd pair in 29 in case they God forbid shrink.

So glad the salesperson recommended sizing down. I’m normally a 25 and the 24 is perfect. These are very stretchy and soft. High rise makes me feel held in. I’ve worn them twice all day to office and they don’t stretch out. I’m not sure why the bad reviews from years ago- I think those are for a different style. Don’t hesitate. You need these. Plus the ankle fray/cut detail is fun and sets them apart. Grey color is a great substitute for black.
