The Scrapper High Rise Ankle Crop Jeans

I thought these looked so cute in the picture, as other reviewer said, much more straight in the hip and waist. I think these are meant to wear with a little more room in the crotch area, slouchy and relaxed. The design doesn't allow for that, rise is too long to wear low, and hip is too narrow, while waist is too wide. My Tomcats are my fav, I wear a 28 in Tomccats, and a 29 or 30 in Looker. These I ordered a 29, waist was too big, sized down, hip and butt too tight. Too Rigid to wear loose, and too straight to wear fitted. I think they run true to size, just for a more athletic build, narrower hip and butt. I have a smaller waist and more butt and thigh.

Love these jeans! Similar to Tomcats but with stretch and not as high of a rise. I have a straight figure with no butt so I didn’t need the pinching in of the waist that the other review mentions. They do stretch out with wear so you get a slouchy fit by the end of the day which is fine by me. I would not size down.

I thought these would be very similar to my Tomcats, but the waist is much straighter and doesn’t pinch in, so there is a large waist gap. The hips felt about the same. The Mother site lists these as rigid but I’d say they have more give than that. I’d size down, but if you tend to need styles that pinch in at the waist these might not work for you. For reference, I’m a 28 in Tomcats, a 28 in most rigid Levis, a 27 in Citizens, and a 27 at Madewell. I took these in a 28, would have sized down to a 27 but decided to just return.
