The Pixie Ankle Skinny Jeans

I absolutely love the wash of these jeans, but wow do they run small. I am typically between two sizes, so I ordered the larger size – I can barely get them over my legs. I'd suggest sizing at least one size up, maybe two. Unfortunately for me, they're now sold out of the size I need. If they come back, I'd definitely try a bigger size.

Mother is probably my favorite denim brand, but I wasn't a fan of the Pixie. Over the years I've purchased close to 20 pairs of Mother jeans, including cropped and full length Looker, Insider, and Rascal styles. The Pixie is basically the Insider, which is also button fly, but they were too lazy/cheap to cover up the button fly. The fabric is on the thinner and scratchier side but also stretchy and flattering for my athletic thighs. They were a bit too tight on my larger calves, though. I would describe this as more of a super skinny jean. I took my normal Mother denim size for these and found them to be TTS. The black wash looks perfect now but I was concerned how much they'd fade. Ultimately, I decided to return these because I don't want to deal with yet another pair of black designer denim that fades despite washing on cold and hanging dry.

I have heard great things about this brand but because I am a tougher fit in jeans, (petite yet curvy) I didn't know what to expect. Alas when these higher waisted jeans arrived in the mail and I slipped them on I felt like they somehow made me a better version of me! It's alot to claim I know but they hold me in without hurting and that's alot to do. My legs look a mile long and even though I am only 5' 2" they are not too long. Simply magical and worth the price twice over!

This is my first pair of Mother jeans. I’m usually a 25 in AG but in these I sized up to a 26 and they fit perfectly. I’m hoping they don’t stretch out too much, I’m not sure since this is my first pair. They are very comfortable, high waisted without being TOO high waisted, and tight around the ankle so they could be worn like a legging or a jean. Love!

Favorite brand of jeans and these are no exception. Soft and stretchy without stretching out and the button fly is flattering with a nice high waist

Seriously, the best jeans Ive ever owned. They fit snuggly and hug your curves but yet they are very comfortable. They have a good stretch to them but still hold there shape after several days of wear. Plus very flattering. I'm a size 16 and these jean just make me feel confident!! Didn't think I could rock button up jeans.
